DINNER PARTY
On Saturday evening. Air •). Young, twin sou of Air and Airs Andrew Acting, of Carlton Avenue, entertain od a number of friends at an informal dinner party at a local hotel in lion our ol Air R. Carter, of Podding, who leaves on Thursday lor England, where he will join the Royal Air Force. Aliss Elaine Brown, as hostess, wore a smart model frock of rust brown. A very appropriate feature of the table decorations was a large floral aeroplane in the Royal Air Force colours. After several speeches had been made and the usual toasts honoured. Air Young presented the guest of honour with a small token of esteem, in the form o> a travelling clock, suitably insoriliod Air Carter briefly returned thanks Alter dinner the guests went on to a dance as flic conclusion to a most on joyablc evening. Those present were Misses E. Brown, N. Warn, S. Warn. AI. Gibson (Feihling), AI. Kortegast I). Kingsbeer. Messrs .1. Young. R Carter, G. Lync, L. Rutherford (Feihling), E. Yeysey and 11. Brock (Feilding).
