Brooke Taylor and the Alisscs Brooke Taylor, of Bainesse. have returned from a trip to the Fast Coast. MiAudrey Brooke Taylor will leave for Suva to-morrow. The annual report of the Palmerston North branch of the Blanket Society states: “At the last annual meeting, Airs A. Coombs, who had been president of the branch for the past 13 years, did not seek re-election, and the rommittoe desires to place on record its deep appreciation of her h’lig and faithful service as president. Mrs Coombs was an indefatigable worker, and her interest in the work of the society was an inspiration to all.” Air and Airs R, E. Alitchell (formerly Aliss B. Foster), of llongotea, have taken up their new residence in I e Awainiitu. Before leaving, Airs Mitchell was presented with a gift Ironi the Rongotea .Methodist Church choir and friends; she has been connected with the choir lor many years. “It is with deep regret that the committee records the passing, during the year, of Aliss AL All-Lagan, who had been a vice-president for many years, and was chairman of the executive committee. Aliss AfcLagan will he greatly missed for her untiring work and interest in the welfare of little children,” says the annual report of the Palmerston North branch of the Plunkot Society. The death occurred in "Wellington last week of Airs E. Trieklebnnk, third daughter of Air and Airs O. Nation. Otaki. iShc was only 2b years of age. and had enjoyed the best of health till the day belore her death. Airs Tricklebank wao born in Fketaliuna, and received her education in Alangamahoe, and at the Alasterton Technical School. After residing in Alacsterton i'or some time, Airs TricJdebank went to Wellington, and then to Otaki, where she resided till the time of her marriage. Two years ago Air and Airs Tricklebank went to Wellington to live.
