OBITUARY
MR JOHN WISCHNEWSKY,
The death occurred recently at Auckland of Air John AVisclmewsky, who was well known in connection with building activities in I aimerston North until his retirement at a comparatively early age through continued ill-health. The late Mr AVisclmewsky, who uas keenly interested in music, was lor a number of years associated with the Palmerston North Municipal Band. He also took an active part in the fetVincent de Paul Society and tor a lengthy period was a member ot the M.U.1.0.0.F. Four years ago the deceased gentleman, acting on medical advice, went to reside in the Auckland district, where his death occurred on May 12 following an operation. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Palmerston North, by A'ery Rev. Afonsignor MacManus prior to the interment at Palliatua, the pall-hearers including representatives from the above .societies. A family of four daughters arc left to mourn Mr AVisclmewsky s passing, his wife, formerly Miss Alarie Sullivan, having predeceased him five years ago
