OBITUARY.
AIR K. H. BAKER. At Lower Halt, on Saturday, the death occurred suddenly of Air Erie 11. Baker, late of Feilding. Air Baker lived all liis boyhood ill Feilding, being the only son of Air and the late Air D. J. Baker, Alonekton Street, and was educated at the L.vtton Street School. As a boy lie suffered from spinal trouble, but outgrew that, and in 11)1.0 left Feilding to reside in bower Mutt. liis end came with tragic suddenness while in the midst of liis family. To the young widow and family of three, one daughter and two sons, and to his only sister. Airs Leonard Giescn, of Feilding, and liis mother, Mrs Baker, Alonekton Street, the sympathy of a wide circle of friends has been extended. That the late Air Baker was as popular at bower llutt as lie was in Feilding was made evident by the large gathering at the homo and at the Karori Cemetery, and by the beautiful flowers received. Air Baker was a staunch Anglican and as a boy was a member of St. John’s Sunday School. The service at the residence in Knight’s Road, Mutfc. and at the cemetery at Karori was conducted by Rev. Al. K. Piraiii.
