JAPAN AND AXIS.
POLICY DECISION REACHED. TOKYO, May 20. The Inner Cabinet held an urgent meeting to-day, after which it was announced that it had reached a final decision on Japan’s policy toward Europe. The Prime Minister (Baron Hiranuma) reported to the Emperor and the Full Cabinet will meet this aftbmoon. It is understood that Japan’s policy will he one of sympathetic neutrality toward the Axis Powers with no definite commitments.
