CHANGEABLE, BUT IMPROVING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 22. An intense anti-cyclone covers the Dominion, the centre being east of the South Island. Pressure has fallen over Eastern Australia. Forecast : Light to moderate southeast winds later freshening, especially in the Straits. Weather, changeable with a few showers in and east of the ranges, but soon improving, elsewhere fine, but skies clouding over to-mor-row. Temperatures, cold. Seas, moderate to rather rough in the Straits and later increasing.
