CZECH ASSETS.
PARTIAL RETURN DENIED. LONDON, May 10. Tn - the House of Commons to-day Mr Chamberlain denied that the British Government had sanctioned the partial return of Czechoslovakian assets held in London. He said the whole story was that £5,000.000 had been handed to Germany with the Treasury’s consent. As quoted by Mr Lloyd George it was a “marc’s nest.” Any release made was in small amounts to refugees.
