CHINA ELIMINATED. PARIS, May 19. . In a llavis Cup match Prance eliminated China. Petra and Pellizza beat Kho Sin Kie and Ho, 6 —2, o—o, o—3. At Stockholm, in the second round, Ploughmami (Denmark) beat Hultman (Sweden). 6 —l, 6 —o, 6—3; Schroeder (Sweden) beat Hoist (Denmark). 6—4, 6—2, 6—3. At Warsaw, also in the second round, Menisci (Germany) beat Bawarowski (Poland), 7 —5, 6 —3, 2—G, 2- 6—4. POLISH INCIDENT. At Warsaw Tloczynski (Poland) beat Henkel (Germany), 6—4, 6—B, 6—4, 36, 6—3. The captain of the German team declared that Henkel was too tired to play the doubles and sought a postponement. The Polish captain demanded a walk-over owing to the German default. The committee deferred its decision. The spectators, dissatisfied, yelled; “We want Germans on the court, not Austrians,” referring to Metaxa and Mcnzcl.
