A message from Horta (Azores) states that the Pan-American fly-ing-boat Yankee Clipper, which took oh; without ceremony from -New York at 1.8 p.m. E.S.T., landed there at 2.29 on Sunday, completing the first leg of its scheduled commercial' flight. The trans-Atlantic trip started on the twelfth' anniversary of Colonel Lindberg’s flight to Paris- The ship carried IGOOIb of letters, and a crew of IT. There were no passengers. A later message states that the Clipper, after completing the first hop in 13hr. 21min., took off again for Lisbon at 1.48 p.m., British summer time, where it arrived at 8.49 p.m. crossing tho Atlantic in 26J hours.
