Ferguson (Auckland), who defeated Aliss O. Stevens (North Shore, Auckland). Arrs Ferguson has won the title three times since 1932. The Arikikapakapa Cup handicap was won by Airs S C'olegrove (Auckland), who defeated 1 Airs R. L. Wilson (Auckland) by aj similar margin. Aliss E. Wilson (Roto-i run) won tho flight handicap. | Contrary to expectations the final was a rather disappointing exhibition of golf for an onen championship, largely owing to the surprising reversal of form shown by Afiss Stevens. In the morning semi-final Aliss Stevens bad a very hard game against Airs E. L. Barker (Rotorua) the match < going to the 18th green, where Aliss i Stevens won 1 up. '• The steady play which Aliss Stevens 1 had shown during the morning was entirely lacking from her exhibition of the afternoon and she was very erratic. She also missed several putts. After losing the second she made two unsuccessful attempts to clear a hunker at the sixth,-eventually picking up.
