CONDITION OF A. McDONALD. Alan McDonald, the horseman who sustained concussion and injuries to bis neck when the steeplechase horse Power Chief fell with him at Awapuni on Thursday, passed a good night last night and his condition to-day is reported to be satisfactory. He is suffering from a badly strained back and neck, and shock. After the first X-ray examination the doctor gave it as bis opinion that no bones bad been broken, and this, was confirmed by the examination on Saturday.
