NEW ESCORT VESSELS.
Received May 22. S.o a.m. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. May 21. Admiralty preparations are now completed for laying down next month 20 new escort vessels of an entirely new type. These ships, of 900 tons, have been designed for the protection of merchant shipping against hostile aircraft or submarines.
