ATHLETICS AND CYCLING.
’ A meeting of the committee of the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held last evening, Mr W. McPhail. presiding. A welcome was extended to Mr l T. Kelly, a new member. A request was received from the Feilding Cricket Association for a contribution ±o its funds for the use of Kowliai Park. The matter was held over until the next meeting. In connection with the weekly club sports, it was decided that trophies be given at each meeting from next week until the end of the track season. The secretary was instructed to write thanking various firms for offers of trophies.
