Cabinet met yesterday morning and afternoon. The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) said last evening that the business transacted had been of an administrative and routine nature. Parliament is prorogued to May 25 by proclamation published in a special Gazette issued last evening. This indicates that there will be no meeting of Parliament before that date, unless of course some unforeseen or unprecedented development demands that members of the Legislature be called together earlier.
