BOWLING.
MANAWATU CENTRE. The annual veterans’ tournament will be held on the Manawatu. Bowling Club’s green, Fitzherbert Avenue, on Tuesday next. Entries having been received from 12 clubs, this is considered very satisfactory. The games will consist of 6ix rounds of eight heads. Tho draw for each round is as follows: First round. —Pitman (Oroua) v. Robinson (Northern); Kershaw (Northern) v. Levin rink; Bulls rink v. Russell (Takaro); Rail (Palmerston North) v. Simpson (Oroua); Hunter (Pahiatua) v. O’Shea (Terrace End); Hay (Palmerston North) v. Curry (Woodville). Second round. —Bulls v. O’Shea; Curry v. Hunter; Robinson v. Levin; Pittman v. Hay ; Russell v. Ball; Kershaw v. Simpson. Third round. —Kershaw v. Russell; Robinson v. ELn.y; Ball v. O’Shea; Curry v. Bulls; Simpson v. Levin; Hunter v. Pittman. Fourth round. —Hay v. Levin ; Kershaw v. O’Shea; Pittman V v. Bulls; Simpson v. Russell; Robinson v. Hunter; Ball v. Curry. Fifth round.- —Robinson v. Bulls; Russell v. Levin; Simpson v. O’Shea; Kershaw v. Curry; Pittman v. Ball; Hay v. Hunter. Sixth round.—Pittman v. Kershaw ; Robinson v. Ball; Hunter v. Levin; Hay v. Bulls ; Simpson v. Curry; Russell v. O’Shea. PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB.
