The Wellington section of the Public Service Association recently raised the question as to whether the association could provide facilities to allow of an exchange of houses between public servants on transfer. The suggestion related primarily to houses which were rented, but it could also Ik? extended to houses that were owned by public servants about to be transferred. “The extent to which the association may he able to assist in this direction is problematical,” states the latest issue of the Public Service Journal.
