(From Our Own Correspondent.) KOPANE. Feb. 13. Tbo Awahuri Hall presented a bright scene on Saturday evening when a large number of friends attended a party lic.d by jMr and Mrs 10. J. Morgan, of Kopane, in honour of the coming-oi-agc of their only son Glyn. The time was spent in dancing, and a most enjoyable time was had by all. Two songs sung by .Mies Erie Berkahn wore much appreciated. Mrs Morgan, who received the guests, was wearing black floral georgette; .Miss Margaret Morgan was dressed in floral organdie, and Miss Val .Morgan in green floral talFcta. Novelty dances were won by Mr 1). Prentice and Miss lienee Cook, and by Miss 11. Hall and partner. The birthday cake, which had been made by Mrs Morgan and iced by Mrs L. Boddy, was cut and the toast to the guest of the evening was proposed by Mr F. Boddy, of Kopane. Mr G. Morgan suitably replied, thanking Mr Boddy for the kind tilings he had said about him and all the others for their good wishes and the beautiful presents he had received. Aforgan has hocn able to come out of hospital, when she had to undergo a small operation, and is staying with Airs B. K. Bennett, of Argyle Avenue. Aliss W. Forlong has had to enter hospital for an operation for appendicitis.
