General; An anticyclone has been passing to the north and a slight one also to the south of New Zealand. Pressures are. however, low and conditions disturbed over the greater part of the Tasman Sea and especially in the south-west portion where an intense depression has been operating. Forecast: Light to moderate southerly wind gradually changing to northerly and later freshening. The weather'will be cloudy to overcast with scattered rain, Temperatures becoming milder. Seas moderate to rather rough. ,
