The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable messnge dated September 1 from its London office: Frozen lambs.—During the month rather better demand than anticipated. This together with shortage of supplies has caused increased prices for both Australian and New Zealand. Market firmer with upward tendency. . •Frozen mutton.—Wether supplies limited, high prices continue, ewes consequently receiving more inquiries, but not sufficient to incroaae prices to any extent. Frozen beef.—Supplies sufficient for domand; market slightly easier.
