RONGOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) ROXGOTEA, April 28.
A most successful field day was held at Mr A. Burgess’s property on Wednesday, there being upward of thirty members present. 'TNir H. R. Green, who gave a very interesting lecture on the points of a dairy cow, and Air R. Alorton, of Alassey College; who spoke on the Southdown sheep and their qualities as fat lamb cacrascs for tho Homo market, were both introduced to the members by Air J. Gloyn, chairman of the Young Fanners’ Club. At the conclusion votes of thanks were carried by acclamation. Thanks were also extended to Air and Airs Burgess for the use of their property and stock-for the demonstration, and for the splendid afternoon tea. Among those present were Alessrs R Alorton, H. 11. Green, H. Denize (Department of Agriculture), H. Kissling (secretary of the Alanawatu A. and P. Association), and Air W. J. Crouclicr (Palmerston North).
