MARKET REPORT.

The Dominion Auctioneering Company report as follows:—Thcro have been good supplies of fruit and vegetables offering during the week and the prices have shown a rising tendency. Vegetables wore in good supply and prices were considerably firmer than the provious week, with cauliflowers showing a decided improvement. Poultry was again in demand and a total clearance was mado at prices satisfactory to the vendors. A good yarding of pigs came forward, porkers and good weaners selling well, but backward wcaners were hard to dispose of. Realisations wero as follows: — Produce.—Tomatoes, best, 4s 6d to 7s per case; quinces, 17s to 19s per case. Pears: Winter Coles, 10s to 12s 6d per J-bushel; cooking pears, 6s to 7s 6d per case. Apples: Delicious, best, 6s to 7s 6d per bushel; others, 4s to 5s fed; Jonathans, 5s to 63 per bushel; Ballarats, 6s to 8s per bushel; Sturmers, 6s to 7s per bushel.
