The sale of 2000 bales of Gisborne wool for export to Canada has been effected privately .at 15d for .fleece wool, this price comparing well with, tile Top price last season of under a shilling.Many inquiries are being made -in this district for wool for private putchase, but most of the growers prefer to await the auctions, the deal referred being fhe clip of one grower.
