CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce to-day, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President: Mr M. G. C. McCaul; vice-president, Mr A. G. Lunn; South Island representatives on the executive, Messrs C. G. Tapley (Invercargill), G. D. Virtue (South Canterbury), M. S. Myers (Dunedin), V. E. Hamilton (Canterbury); North Island representatives, Messrs A. M. Seaman (Auckland), G. Fraser (Taranaki), and A. S. Burgess (Wanganui); Wellington members on the executive, Messrs H. Anderson, F. H. Bass, J. Halligan, D. J. McGowan, J. C. Morrison, S. Paterson, and C. A. L. Treadwell. Mr Norton Francis, retiring president, was elected a vice-president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire.
