LATE MR JAMES BUSSELL.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Nov. 21.

The funeral of the late Mr Jas. Bussell took place on Thursday, when a large number of friends attended to pay their last respects. The service at St. Andrew’s Church was conducted by Vcn. Archdeacon Petrie. Miss A. Funston presided at the organ. Many beautiful floral tributes were carried on the hearse. The chief mourners were the sons of deceased, Messrs H. C. and W. Bussell, and Mrs J. W. Cook (daughter), Mrs W. Bussell, and Mr James Bussell (grandson). Tho cortege travelled via Fcilding to the Makino Cemetery, where the last rites wero performed by Archdeacon Petrie. Tho j mil-bearers were: Mc<ssrs H. E. Hock on, J. Donald, J. Power, H. YV. Shepherd, A. p* Langdon and T. Wales,
