METHODISTS AND DANCING.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 20. “The appointments of modern dancing halls, sensuous music, very late hours and, as often as not, the practice of drinking in and around halls and cabarets all constitute grave moral perils which young Christian people should resolutely avoid.” This opinion was expressed in a recommendation adopted by the Auckland Methodist Synod. Tho question of dancing was the subject of a lengthy debate and varied viewpoints were expressed.
