DROWNING TRAGEDY.

BOTH BODIES RECOVERED. Per Press Association. CARTERTON, June 15. The search for the missing bodies of the youths drowned at Whareroto yesterday tas reported on page I)) was continued this morning, and tne body of Hector Donald was recovered 30 yards from the shore, clad in a leather jacket and shirt. The theory is that he stripped off and went to the assistance of Murdoch McLeod. There is 20 leet of water at the spot where the body was recovered.

The body , was located by a ’plane piloted by Keith McMaster. The body of Murdoch McLeod was recovered shortly after noon. 20 yards from the other body on a line parallel with the shore. It was fully clothed, except for gum boots, and carried a loaded cartridge belt.
