LITTLE ENTENTE
PLAN FOR CO-OPERATION ARMAMENT CONTROL. PRESENT UNEASINESS.
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received June 15, 11 a.in. BUCHAREST, June 14. In accordance with arrangements, the chiefs of staffs of the Czechoslovakian and Yugoslav armies, accompanied by representatives of the principal sections, have arrived to begin a five days’ conference aiming at coordination of the Little Entente’s defences. Tito problems being discussed include unification of armaments, and the establishment of new armament works in Rumania and Yugoslavia which would co-operate with the Czechoslovakian factories. The holding of the conference is regarded by diplomatic circles as an indication of the seriousness with which the Little Entente views the situation in consequence of the weakening of the League and the breakdown of collective security.
