NORWEGIANS FIND A FRIEIND IN STEWART ISLAND. A man avho had just returned from a holiday trip which embraced a few days’ stay in Stewart Island, was talking to a friend about the wonders of that island. When Patterson Inlet was mentioned, the friend said, “Did you see any whaling activities there?" The reply was, “I can tell you what I was very glad to 6ee there and that was Baxter’s Lung Preserver.
