CAGE BIRDS.

At the Wanganui Canary and Case Bird Annual .Show, last week, Mr H. E. Edmunds, of Palmerston North, was again successful in winning the open chamnionship for the best budgerigar in the Show in addition to six firsts and two second prizes, with eight birds. The judge (Mr H. Edwards, of Wanganui) stated that the birds exhibited at this Show were the finest he had seen at any Show, the winner of the championship being a remarkably well-coloured bird.
