EMINENT DOCTOR.
WEEK-END IN CITY. Dr Bright Bannister, of London, who was elected vice-president of the section of obstetrics and gynaecology at the recently concluded conference of the British Medical Association, was expected to arrive in Palmerston North by car with Mrs Bannister .ate this afternoon. Arrangements have been made, by the local branch of the British Medical Association to entertain Dr Bannister at dinner this evening, and later lie will deliver a lecture to the members of the medical profession. Dr and Mrs Banistenr will he the guests of Dr and Mrs Wilson during their stay here. They will probably leave for Wellington .to-morrow afternoon.
