DIAMOND JUBILEE.
ALL SAINTS’ CIIURCII.
To-morrow, St. Michael and All Angels’ Day, will begin the week’s festivities at All Saints’ Church, in celebrating the diamond jubileo of the laying of tlie foundation stone of the first church built in the parish, and the commemoration of 63 years of parish life. Tho festivities will begin with a celebration of the Holy Communion at 8 a.m. At 11 a.m., tlie Lord Bishop of the Diocese will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 85 candidates. In the afternoon at 2.30, a children’s service will bo held, the conductor being Rev. H. S. I. Kenney, 8.A., vicar of Foxlon. At 7 p.m., there will he festal evensong, the preacher being tho Venerable Archdeacon Bullock, A.ICC. After the evening service the Te Deum will be sung as an act of thanksgiving. The various services and social functions will bo seen in the advertisement in this paper. His Lordship tho Bishop of Nelson will concludo tho celebrations on Sunday, October ui l p.m.
