MIGRANTS NOT WANTED.
Received September 28, 2.0 p.m. MELBOURNE. Sept. 28. No action Mill be taken by the Victorian Government to encourage largescale migration to Victoria. Tile Ministerial view given to-day is that, owing to the large number of unemployed now in the State, such a policy would spell industrial suicide. Victoria’s attitude thus supports that of lit. Hon. G. W. Forbes.
