CITY BAND DANCE
.An enjoyable time was spent in tbo Oddfellows’ Hall, on Saturday night, by the large number of patrons who attended the City Band’s weekly old-time dance. Dancing to excellent music contributed by an old-timo orchestra, and with the floor in tip-top order, the time passed all too quickly. 'I ho ladies’ committee, assisted by a band of witling helpers, served supper, after which an enjoyable extra was played by Mr Bradley. Prizes were won by the following:—Novelty, Mr McDonald; Gay Gordons, Miss ltadcliffe .and Mr Wolfsbauer; Monte Carlo, Miss Nix and Mr Port; lucky door tickets, Miss Davy and Mr Bogors. Mr Jackson and Mr Cooksley were M.C.'s.
