FEILDING CYCLING CLUB.
END OF SEASON SOCIAL
Marking the close of the 1934-35 season, the Feilcling Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held a social last night in the Women’s Division Club rooms. Cards and dancing, interspersed with vocal, instrumental and specialty items, made an enjoyable programme. The Mayor (Mr T. Collins) congratulated the club on the success of its season and the performances put up bv the competitors, both in local and outside events. He hoped it would continue to flourish and be tire means of winter recreation for sports enthusiasts in Bedding. Mr Collins then made the following awards for the season’s events: —Points cup for road racing: A. Bade; points prize, track racing, H. Cocker (Snnthers Cup); Bain Cup, J. Lamberton, junr.; Levy Cup, for competitor taking part in the greatest number of club races, R, Lamberton. In congratulating the winners on their achievements Mr Collins hoped that in the near future the club would be able to construct .its own permanent track. The musical programme was contributed bv Mr R. A. Levy with vocal solos; Mr C, Sim-
mons, instrumental items; and Miss Fraser, tap dancing. Mr A. Feeney acted as accompanist and also played the music for the dancing.
