THE FINANCIAL DEBATE HOUSE SITS TILL MIDNIGHT The debate on tlie Financial Statement was continued in the House of Representatives yesterday, when for the first time this session the House sat till just on midnight. In his speech the Country Party member (Air H. M. Rushworth) sought information of the Government concerning its exchange indemnity policy as related to the trading banks and the Reserve Bank, and urged reform of the monetary system.
