: ' LONDON WOOL SALES. HOME AND CONTINENT. BRADFORD MARKET STEADY. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received September 24, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 23. At the wool sales 10,148 bales were offered, including 2221 from New Zealand. About 8400 bales of Australian and New Zealand wool were sold. There was brisk Bradford and Continental competition at full rates. New Zealand slipe lialfbred lambs, branded Kaiapoi, reached 133 d and averaged 12d. On the Bradford tops market Merinos are tending in buyers’ favour and crossbreds are steady.
