DANNEAHRKE. Sept. 23
Air D. L. Crooks, formerly of AA’eber, has commenced his duties as clerk to the Dannevirke County Council. Airs J. Collett, who has been spending a holiday with Airs C. J. Palmer, has returned to her home in Auckland. Mrs C. Bateman, who has been visiting relatives in Dannevirke, has returned to AA’nitara. She was accompanied by her sister, All's N. Hoskings, of Dannevirke. Mrs D. Grant, of Gisborne, and a former resident for many years of Norsewond, is on a holiday visit there, staying with her sister, Airs AV. AVahl, of Napier Road. Air A. E. Bedford, chairman of the Park Island Home Committee, was a visitor to Dannevirke at the week-end and paid a visit to the Old People’s Home in High Street North. Mr Bedford returned to Napier this afternoon.
