GENERAL ELECTION
MR H. HOLLAND TO STAND. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 23. Mr H. Holland. M.P. for Cliristcliurch North, will contest the seat again in the forthcoming election as the Government candidate..Mr Holland said to-day that his health had made it doubtful for a time whether he would be able to stand the strain of the campaign, but it had improved so much recently that he was confident lie could take part in the election. He thought he would be able to resume his seat in the House in about a fortnight. DEMOCRAT' PARTY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Sept. 23. Mr T. C. A. Hision. the leader of the Democrat Party, will open his campaign on Tuesday, October 1, in the Auckland Town Hall when he will announce the full details of the policy of the party and also the full list of selected and endorsed candidates.
