AIR RACE FLIERS.
CHEERED IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Nov. 12. Scott and Black arrived by train froni Melbourne this morning and were greeted at the railway station by a vast cheering crowd. The aviators proceeded through the city by car, being vociferously acclaimed throughout the route.
Official calls were paid to the Governor and the Premier, after which they attended a State luncheon in their honour. The Danish airmen have arrived in Sydney in the course of their flight home.
TURNER AND PANGBORN. ROUND THE WORLD. SYDNEY. Nov. 12. Turner and Pangborn arrived by train from Melbourne. Pangborn stated that they are planning to fly round the world in four days eight hours, stopping only at Moscow and Chita, in Siberia. They are having a ’plane specially built, with a range of 8200 miles. The designer is an Italian-American, named Burnelli.
