PERSONAL.

A well-known resident of Awahuri Road, Mr J. C. Hurn, died yesterday. The sympathy of his wide circle of acquaintances will go out to the bereaved family. Mrs Philpotts, of Blenheim, and her brother, Mr L. Snowden, who are touring the North Island, are the guests of Mr E. P. Mason, Denbigh Street, Feilding. The condition of Mrs R. P. Walsh, of Ivimbolton Road, is still causing her family concern and, acting on medical advice, she has proceeded to Paraparaumu. Miss L. Davidson, of the nursing staff of the Palmerston North Hospital, is spending her annual leave with her parents, Mr and Mrs H. G. Davidson, Sandilands Street, Feilding.
