EXPANSION AT HOME. OUTLOOK EOR FUTURE. Received November 13, 10.30 a.m. LONDON. Nov. 12. Sir Robert Horne, president of tho Imperial Smelting Corporation, sai'l the net profit had been £154,984 as compared with £129,880 last year. The plant had been expanded, but the industry was not yet giving a lair return. The company’s efforts to aid the resuscitation of Australian gold mining were thus far successful. The company had almost completely reorganised' the British zinc industry and should shortly employ 2500 men and expend £600',000 in wages annually.
