HEWETT’S TASMAN CROSSING

SYDNEY, Nov., 7. McGregor and Walker arrived at Mascot at 10.45 am. to-day. Hewett and Kay landed at Cootamundra en route to Sydney. They are remaining overnight. Hewett stated that they would fly the Tasman as soon as the machine had been overhauled at Mascot aerodrome.

RAPID TASMAN FLIGHT.

Received November 8, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 8. McGregor and Walker will sail with their ’plane aboard the Monowai for New Zealand to-morrow. They intend doing an aerial tour of New Zealand. Hewett and Kay were forced to stay the night at Cootamundra owing to stormy weather. They expect to cross the Tasman in nine hours, landing at Auckland.
