LICENSING CASE APPEAL,
Decision was reserved by His Honour Mr Justice Blair, in the Supreme Court at Palmerston North to-day, in the case in which Police-Sergeant Angland, of Feilding, appealed against the decision of Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., who had dismissed charges against John David Farmer, Albert Edward Hosken and Roy. Gordon Hosken, all of Feilding, of uiding David 1 rideaux Barrett in the selling of liquor m prohibited hours at the Manchester Hotel Feilding, on July 14 1934. When the case was continued tins morning, Mr P. E Baldwin, for respondents, addressed the Court, Mi H R Cooper’s submissions on behalt of' appellant having been heard yesterday' Both addresses were confined to the' submission of authorities dealing with various legal aspects ot the Ca |lis Honour, as already stated, reserved liis decision. The earlier proceedings in the case are reported on page 4.
