INJURY NOT SERIOUS.

CHRISTCHURCH, April 6. Wulla Walla’s injuries when lie put his fool into a sulky wheel in the race on Wednesday proved not to be serious. When he was pulled up after the race one ol his fetlocks was bleeding profusely, and was obviously very sore. Until the wound had been bathed it was impossible to be sure of the extent of the injury, but when the blood was washed away his trainer was reassured that the damage was not serious, and when next day he showed no sign of lameness all fears were removed. He is now as fit as ever. He will work at Addington 10-morrow, and on Tuesday, if conditions are favourable, he will be given a fast work-out to prepare him for his Ashburton engagements. He is sure to go well next time ho starts. Certainly he is none the worse the slight mishap.
