RACING MOTORIST.
NINETY MILE BEACH FEAT.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 6. Mr H. S. Butcher, of Auckland, who is well-known in connection with speed record attempts in New Zealand, says that a few days ago while motoring on the Ninety Mil© Beach at 50 miles per hour he wrote without difficulty a description .of “the trial. Hie sails to-morrow on a trip abroad, during which he will visit Daytona Beach and the dried lakebed in Utah, and he intends to see if he can write with the same facility at the same speed there. He also hopes to see Sir Malcolm Campbell and inquire into the possibility of Ms attempting a speed record in New Zealand.
