OBITUARY

MR A. G. CREAGH. Per Press Association. OAMARU, Sept. 18. The death occurred last evening of a prominent Oamaru citizen, Mr A. G. Creagh, aged 83. Deceased was born in Dublin and came to the Dominion as a boy. He was educated in Dunedin and articled to Mr B. C. Hag. gitt. Admitted a barrister in 1875, he had practised at Oamaru ever since. Deceased was Crown Prosecutor from 1885 till recently, and was for many years solicitor to the Borough and County Councils and the Harbour and Hospital Boards. He was keenly interested in all kinds of sport and at one time owned racehorses.
