AUSTRALIAN BOYS’ BAND. After a most successful tour of the South Island tlie y.A.L. Band and revue party entertained an overflow mg audience at the Town nail, Wellington, last evening. These clever boys are proving more entertaining than on their first visit. On Friday next they leave lor Master ton. Then on to Palmerston North for Saturday and Sunday, and leave again on -Monday lor Wanganui. The programme to be presented on tho return visit contains many new items, and in response to many requests the most popular numbers of the original programme. Tlie concert here on Saturday will be at the Opera House. Prices have been reduced so that even greater popularity lor the Y.A.L. boys should be experienced. There will bo a matinee at 2.30 and the only and final concert at 8 p.m. Patrons will be well advised to book their seats as there ns sure to be a huge audience to witness this Jai>t performance. A picturiisation of Sax Rohmer’s mystery story a 1 ‘The Mask of Fu Alanchu,** will open to-morrow afternoon at the Palaco Theatre. Boris Karloff is ideally suited as the Oricntial potentate, who combines Western science with Eastern callousness for tho discomfort of his enemies. The adventures Gf intrepid English scientists who endeavour .to discover tho tomb of Glengis Khan, arc exciting in the extreme. Lewis Stone, Karen Morley, Charles Starrctt, Myrna Loy, and Jean Jlersholt appear on tho strong cast. Tho supporting films include a Zasu Pitts and Thelma Todd farce.

At tho Kosy Theatre to-morrow will be shown Tim McCoy’s latent western picture,

“The Riding Tornado.” As usual Tim McCoy hats been supplied with a story that is packed with thrilling highlights. _ Fast gun play, broncho-bustin’, stampeding, list fighting and a dangerous run-in with horse thieves are some of them. Shirley Grey and Wallace MacDonald arc in supporting roles to McCoy. Chapter 7 of “Jungle Mystery” is also show'll.
