CONCLUDING OFFERING. (United Press Association—-By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received February 9, 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. S. At the wool sales tho concluding offering was 7764 bales, including 1947 from New Zealand, and about 3791 were sold. As the bulk of the requirements had previously been filled, the demand was somewhat quieter. The total amount catalogued was 133,463 bales. The quantity sold to the Home trade was 63,750 bales and to the Continent 56,350, the quantity held over being 43,000 bales. The total of Australian sold was 66,500 bales and of New Zealand 44,000 bales. Compared with the December closing rates, Merino greasy was generally 5 per cent, dearer, fine 71; scoured, fine, fully 5 per cent.; coarse, unchanged; crosbreds, fine, 5 per cent.; medium, coarse weakened recently, being barely equal to the December rates; slipes were unchanged.
