JAPANESE MINISTER’S THREAT

Received December 3, 8.45 a.m. KOBE, Dec. 2. The Finance Minister, Mr Takahaski, threatens that unless yen speculation ceases the Government will exercise control of exchange and even trade. He vigorously attacked “expert” bankers who sacrifice the national interest, “selfishly deeming that profit is everything and policy nothing, employing cunning tricks and lying talk.” He extolled the superior methods oi British bankers.
