CONCERT PARTY.

VISIT TO FOXTON. Organised by the Foxton Women’s Institute in aid of the Christinas unemployment relief - fund, a successful concert was held at Foxton on Thursday evening, when a material contribution to the success of the gathering was made by a Palmerston North party of artists arranged by Miss Doreen Saunders. Tho Palmerston North entertainers received a very warm welcome and several had to respond to double encores. Tho auditorium was well filled and the audience was most appreciative. Miss Saunders and her friends created a very favourable impression and their help was greatly appreciated. After the concert they were entertained at supper by the Women’s Institute.
